2010 Mother's Day, Eric's Diamonds hosted a FREE jewelry
workshop for children. The workshop was intended for families experiencing
financial hardships for Mother's Day.
2009 Mother's Day, Eric's Diamonds gave 100 pearl necklaces to people who´ve been recently laid off
A very few of the touching emails we've received:
I want to thank you because I was fortunate enough to receive a set of pearls from you last week. I have been laid off since the middle of January. Previous to that I was working in the Milwaukee area for a year and a half, driving 700 miles per week to be home with my family on the weekends. It has been a trying time for all of us, as it has been for many people. Your generosity provided a bright spot for our family as I had our 3 children present my wife with the pearls. It was meant to be a token of their appreciation for all her hard work being mom and "holding down the fort" while I was working out of town. It really brightened up my wife's Mother's Day and I really appreciated and thank you for that. It was a gift that I probably couldn't have afforded to give her at this time.

I would sincerely like to thank you for giving
away the pearl
necklaces for
Mother's Day. You see, my husband was laid off from his job
after sustaining serious job related burns. He almost lost his whole
arm, and the burns that healed well on his face were truly a
blessing.
We've been together for twenty years now, since we were fourteen. We
married when we were nineteen, and had nine miscarriages before God
blessed us with our three beautiful children..
I have been seriously physically disabled since I was a child, due
to my mother drinking heavily and doing drugs while pregnant with
me. My husband was majorly abused as a child, and ended up in the
foster care system
until he was an adult. We've struggled mightily, but have always
managed to just scrape by financially. This year was the exception
to the rule.
Once again, thank you. My children and husband are thrilled, as am
I. May God bless you and your family. Even if you don't get many
thanks, please know that there are many of us that do appreciate
such a wonderful, kind, understanding opportunity.

A note was received from someone helping a family whose husband has been laid off and have two boys whose mother was battling cancer. She told us that the boys mentioned they would like to give their mother a gift for Mother's Day.
Thank you so very much for your kindness with the pearls. She is a very special unique lady. She has gone through so much and is fighting one of the toughest battles. God Bless you all.
